Why I Ride ...
It is that time again, time for me to give you my PMC Pitch. The PMC is one of the largest non corporate sources for Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund needs your support. So, I'm asking for your sponsorship for this years' PMC. For the past 13 year I have ridden the PMC and I have been cancer free for the past 7 year due to drugs developed at Dana Farber.
This year for my training vacation, I will be doing two bike tours, a one week ride in Finger Lakes.
So it is time for me to hit you all up for a donation for the Pan Mass Challenge (PMC). It seems that no one has time these days, and most of you know about the PMC (if not let me know and I will fill you in), so I'm going to keep it short. The PMC is the weekend of the August 6th & 7th. Once again, I will be riding with 5,000 plus riders on the 192 miles from Sturbridge to Province town with an overnight in Bourne. For the last 4 year my wife, Lynne, has volunteered to work one of the rest stops. She will be doing it again this year.

So, the next thing for you to do is to let me know how much you will be contributing and how you will be giving it. I do not need your donation till August.I will again be carrying a sheet with names of your loved ones that have had cancer (won, lost, or are fighting) during the ride. If you have someone that you would like included on the sheet, please include his or her name with your pledge.
