The Pan-Massachusetts Challenge is an annual bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country. The PMC donates 100 percent of every rider��"raised dollar directly to the cause.  The organization was founded in 1980 and has since raised $303 million for cancer research and treatment.

This year’s two-day PMC ride begins on Saturday, August 6th.   This will be my fifth ride from Wellesley to P-town in honor and inspiration of my friend Maddie.  This will be my third year without her high fives and hugs at the Wrentham water stop but I know Maddie’s amazing spirit (and good luck butterfly) with push me through all 164 miles!  I am once again riding for Team Pedals for Pediatrics.  Every dollar raised by our team directly supports the pediatric oncology programs at Dana-Farber and Children’s Hospital Boston.  In addition to much needed research, these programs provide financial support to families and fun activities for the kids undergoing treatment.  Please sponsor my ride so that we can help these incredibly brave kids fight and defeat cancer!
