Why I Ride ...
I was inspired to join the team after witnessing both my grandmother and grandfather battle cancer also our Pedal Partner, Emily Taylor, who is an inspirational 7-year old with leukemia. Thankfully all three won their fights against the disease, but it has impacted their lives significantly. Emily's family is fighting with more grace and strength and humor than I think I ever could. My grandmother is a breast cancer survivor and my grandfather is a colon cancer survivor. They are truly inspiring and I’ll be proud to ride for them for the second year in a row. Cancer, as everyone knows, is an insidious disease that has touched all of our lives.
