Why I Ride ...
Not many things would make me travel 111 miles in anything less than a car, but the look on my son's face when I said I was going to participate in the PMC this year is enough motivation to keep those pedals turning. This year I have the opportunity to raise money for an organization that has directly blesses our family's lives. Our son DJ has bravely battled neuroblastoma for the past 4 years, and has received advanced treatment and care at the Jimmy Fund Clinic for the past 20 months. DJ faces several challenges, and it takes skilled and dedicated doctors, nurses, researchers, and support staff to help us meet these challenges with him. I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. I would greatly appreciate your support in my efforts to raise money on behalf of DJ and others who battle cancer.
