Dear Friends and Family,

I am riding in the Pan Mass challenge for all those who have been directly or indirectly touched by cancer. This year the ride is much more personal though, as my friend and colleague Vlad was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Now 22 of Vlad's friends and colleagues are riding as Team Vlad, to help fund brain tumor research.

The Pan Mass challenge is the biggest single athletic fundraiser in the world, and I am proud to be a part of it. 100% of your contribution will go directly to the Jimmy Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, which has supported the fight against cancer for over 60 years. Thanks to cancer research done at Dana Farber, survival rates of cancer have climbed from 20% to over 90% for some forms of cancer, especially early childhood cancers.
