Why I Ride ...
This year's PMC will be my third. There were many reasons to not take part this year, but having a close family friend who died last year from cancer, and having another good friend this year find out they had the disease, proved to be a stark reminder that cancer doesn't stop for anybody, and that I need to keep doing all I can. Riding for 2 days is a small way in which I can help. I've run marathons before for various charities, but in those events, there are many wonderful charities being represented and supported. The PMC is all the more inspiring because everybody involved is focused to help to beat cancer. I hope you will consider donating.
