Well I did it last year!!! What an emotional first PMC ride in memory of our Meghan.  Having one year under my belt has inspired me to keep on riding!  Now I know why Frank will be doing his his 8^th ride.  Frank and I will be dedicating this year and future years' rides to our beautiful daughter Meghan who passed away last year at the age of 11 and to her wonderful friend Maddie who joined Meg in heaven last October. 

As you know, Meghan waged a very courageous battle against metastatic osteosarcoma and was an inspiration to other patients and her wonderful caregivers at the Jimmy Fund Clinic and Children's Hospital. Meghan was committed to the PMC and the Pedal Partner program, even serving as a spokesperson on NECN.

Last year, Meghan's friends raised $24,000 for the PMC through a kids' ride which we are holding again this year in her memory and dedicating to her friend Maddie's memory as well.  It is scheduled for June 28, 2009 and more can be found on our web site www.meghanspedalpower.com
