Why I Ride ...
Why I Ride ...
Dear Friends and Family-
The 2012 Pan Mass Challenge is scheduled for the weekend of August 4th and 5th and it will be my fourth PMC ride. Your amazingly generous donations over last three years are greatly appreciated and have been able to fund so many wonderful programs and families at Children's Hospital. But we again need your help. I am again riding the PMC for Team Pedals for Pediatrics; found at http://pedalsforpediatrics.org/
My intention for riding this terrific event is very special, as I will be riding in honor of Tim O'Connell. Tim lost his battle with a rare form of leukemia in September 2008. Tim's parents, Joanne and Kevin O'Connell, are close friends and Holy Cross classmates. Tim and his family received fantastic care from the doctors, nurses and staff at Children's Hospital during their time there. Please continue to support the great inroads that Children's and Dana Farber are making for kids with cancer. All P4P funding will be directly allocated to pediatric oncology programs at Children's Hospital and Dana Farber. Your generosity will be making a direct impact on the children and families touched by cancer.
Much love, good health and great Thanks,
Cheryl
