Why I Ride ...
Hello, this is PMC number 22 for me this year! It's hard to believe that it's been 22 years since I rode in my first Pan Mass with my old friends Turk and Tony. A lot has changed over the years. My son was turning 1 back then and my daughter was not yet here. Now with a 21 year old going in his fourth year at UConn and a 17 year old senior applying to colleges I'm still riding.
The event has become more personal with each year. It makes me appreciate the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the reason we all ride this event. The staff at Dana Farber are in a class all their own. This goes from the top doctors doing research and diagnosis to the unsung heroes that keep the institute running.
The Dana Farger is certainly a place that I could have done without getting to know. However, if you ever need treatment for cancer, it's the ONLY place to go.
I'm hoping you will support me as in years past.
I'm setting my 2010 goal at $12,000 and I need your help to get there. I will be matching the first $1500.
