Why I Ride ...
2011 is treating us better than 2010 since we will be back on the tandem for the sixteenth time.
The PMC is the single largest contributor to the Jimmy Fund at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Most of us give money to many charities. Without a doubt this charity is the most emotional one for us. We talk about it all year long, not just in August. We ride year round with 40 other bicyclists who are equally committed to the PMC.
There are several factors that motivate us to continue to ride in the PMC:
* To keep alive the memory of Britt, Uncle Jimmy, Pat, and other family and friends close to us who have lost their battles with cancer.
* To help advance the field of cancer research and patient treatment.
