Why I Ride ...CANCER SUCKS!
My 2010 PMC ride will be made in honor of Mary Eisnor - one strong little girl with a HUGE heart currently being treated for a rare form of liver cancer. She has undergone countless needle sticks, multiple surgeries, radiation
treatment, dozens of rounds of chemotherapy and is currently
participating in clinic trials to find a cure for her cancer!
Also for my Father, Stephen G. Long, who passed away on December 4, 2008 of brain cancer. He would view this ride as a great way to get my butt back on the bike; I don't disagree and it will be nice to have him along for the ride, especially up those hills...
