Andrew Wagner's Ride
Why I Ride ...
Dear Friends,
For the last 2 years, I have had the absolute privilege of riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge. It is an exhilarating, exhausting, emotional, and inspiring 2 day bike ride. The sight of thousands of people riding and the thousands more lining the route cheering us on is nothing short of spectacular, as we all are raising money to support cancer research and cancer care at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
But why do I do it? I can think of thousands of reasons - all the many patients, family, and friends that I have seen struggle with cancer and how it has affected their lives, their young children, their parents, families, and friends. Riding 100+ miles is nothing compared to what they have gone through, and their pain, hope, and courage is motivation enough to do this ride again and again.
How can you help? Please join
me in this ride on August 7th and 8th by providing much needed support
to continue our mission of improving cancer care. Last year's ride
raised over $30 million; with your help we can add to that
total this year.
With great thanks,
Andy
