Why I Ride ...
OK, this is year number three and it is getting to be a habit. I've joined a new team, the Stem Cell Cyclists and all of our money is earmarked for the research of Dr. Corey Cutler at Dana Farber. The team I'm riding with are "Heavy Hitters" and I'm going to try to raise the $6,000 needed to reach this status too for the first time.
Unfortunately, this year cancer has become even more personal for me. A family member and a good friend were both diagnosed with life-threatening cancer and I am dedicating my ride to them. Luckily, they have both benefited from all of the cancer research to date and they are both doing well, but is so apparent to me how cancer is life-changing, both for the survivor and those close to them. One of them could directly benefit from the work being done by Dr. Cutler.
I will personally match, dollar for dollar the first $2,000 that my friends and family donate before July 15th. So please give soon and give generously and thank you for your support!
