P- PMC - The  original fundraising bike-a-thon that raises more money than any other athletic fundraising event in the country

A- Amy Fradkin -  9th year rider #AF0061, paticipating in the 2012 ride from Wellesley to P-town

N- Number of miles I have committed to ride this year - 170

 

M- Millions (over three thus far) that Team Perry has raised since 2001

A- Amount I have committed to raising for this this event - $6400

S-  Support for the PMC - I will pedal on Saturday Aug 4th and Sunday Aug. 5th to raise money for cancer research
S- Support from my family each time I leave the house to complete a training ride; there are many and they are long

 

C- Committed, Compassionate, Caring, Courageous, Competitive, Cancer

H- Honored to be a participant in this amazing event

A- An answer to the question; When will we find a cure?

L- Living Proof -  Those who I ride for that are living through and surviving this disease

L- Longevity -  My lifelong commitment to finding a cure

E- Emotional -  How I feel each time I complete this ride

N- Nuisance -  Chemo and radiation treatments, MRI’s, CAT scans, pain and suffering

G- Good news -  Treatments that work

E- Empowered -  How I feel when Team Perry has enough funds to add another doctor to the team our researchers

 

2- Two days of riding to complete this event

0- Zero tolerance  for this insidious disease

One goal - to rid the world of cancer

2- Two Jersey’s for a two day ride, ribbons of loved ones adorning my back.

 

T- Total amount the PMC expects to raise this year - $35,000,000

E- Economy -  It is a tough time financially which truly makes me appreciate any and all donations

A- Assistance -  What I need from family and friends to help me meet my fundraising goals

M- Mass Maritime -  The half-way point in Bourne, MA  and where I will sleep after my first day of riding

E- Enthusiastic about our newest Team Perry fellow who will be studying pancreatic cancer treatments.
