Al Etre's Ride
My sister Annie Goat
For the second time in a
lifetime, I will be participating in the Pan Mass Challenge. This year will be
especially meaningful to me due to the fact that after completing last year’s
ride in my best friend Ron Hale’s memory, I received the devastating news that
my sister, Ann was diagnosed with stage three lung cancer. It is amazing how
the effects of this insidious disease can change life in an instant. I’m amazed
at my sister’s strength and fortitude to do battle with this formidable foe and
it’s radiation, chemo treatments and nausea. She’s a hero and survivor. This
PMC I ride for “Annie Goat.”
The PMC continues to
contribute every dollar donated directly to Dana Farber Cancer Research. I have
all the fun riding, but need you for the difficult part of fundraising. As
always it’s hard to ask for money in these trying times, but at the same time
it’s harder to see friends and family suffer with cancer. Please support me in
this worthy cause.
Thank you,
Al Etre
