This year, I am riding in honor of many family members and friends who either have or had cancer. This includes Declan, my daughter and son-in-law's nephew who is winning his challenge after treatment for a rare form of brain cancer. Unfortunately, it also includes Tommy and Bob who lost their battles with brain cancer this spring, Nancy B. who succumbed to breast cancer and Mary who is fighting ovarian cancer.

The Pan Mass Challenge is actually an accumulation of many challenges. The patients face the disease every day. The of the Dana Farber Cancer Research Institute have the challenge of healing and finding cures. My challenge is to train, ride and fund raise. Your challenge is to make a generous contribution in support of the others.
