Why I Ride ...
Dear Friends & Family,
It's year 10 for my PMC efforts. Unfortunately, we continue to lose those around us to this horrible disease. Fortunately, there are events such as the PMC for us to participate in to help find a cure.
As many of you know, I ride for Team Leslies' Links, which raises money for Ewing Sarcoma Cancer Research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Leslie's Links was set up by Leslie Semonian, who passed away from Ewing Sarcoma in 1999 at the age of 33. She battled this disease for many years, never giving in during that time.
I'll be again riding in honor of Leslie and many others who have been taken from us. During the entire 192 mile ride, I am constantly reminded how lucky some of us are. I have the ability to help make a difference, and so do you.
