"Tire"-d? PMC supporter turns rubber into jewelry for PMC

Need some inflation in your fundraising?

Well, Waltham, Mass. resident, PMC supporter and jewelry maker, Kateri Kay, is here to help.

Kateri uses "retired" bike inner tubes to make trendy and original bangles that in turn will help you fundraise for yourself or your team. Send your friends, family and supporters to her jewelry website and Kateri will donate half the purchase price of any item to your PMC account. Pieces can be personalized with your team name or with inspirational messages like, "RIDE ON."

How it works:

Visit her blog  to order, and at check out, in the comments box, specify the rider and rider ID number or team name and team ID number. This is also where you can request a personalized message or team name to be stamped on your jewelry.

Consider it shopping for the greater good – keeping trash out of landfills while putting fundraising dollars in your spandex.

You can also contact her via phone with questions and orders at (617) 869-2074.
