Pan-Mass Challenge Welcomes Life Time as Official Training and Nutrition Sponsor

Needham, MA (TK, 2018) – The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), the nation’s most successful athletic fundraising event benefitting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, is pleased to announce that Life Time, the nation’s only Healthy Way of Life brand, is the new official training and nutrition sponsor through 2020.

Life Time, which has three destinations in the Greater Boston area along with the soon-to-open Burlington club, will provide expert trainers and nutrition coaches to participants as they prepare for the annual event, at the first New Rider Orientation session at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston on April 4, 2018. The experts will discuss the importance of taking care of your body during an intensive training period and offer tips for health improvement. As well, Life Time Athletic Chestnut Hill will host rides for PMC participants from April through July to gear up for PMC ride weekend in August.

The PMC is the nation’s most successful athletic fundraising event, raising and contributing more money to charity than any other. On August 4 and 5, 2018, more than 6,200 cyclists and 4,000 volunteers will participate in the two-day bike-a-thon with the goal of raising $52 million to support patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber. One hundred percent of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to the cause. If accomplished, this fundraising goal will bring the organization’s 39-year contribution to more than $650 million. The PMC is Dana-Farber’s largest single contributor, raising more than 53 percent of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue.
